Old noise

I read about this on Dvice. Click here to hear what they claim is the old­est sound ever recorded: 1860. What’s cra­zi­est about this is that the sound was “recorded” on paper. They fig­ured out how to record it, but not how to play it back. That’s archiving.

Cap for the cure

I’m try­ing to fig­ure out why Sunkist has an orange cap and Diet Sunkist has a pink cap. Could it be that Diet Soda is mar­keted towards women? Don’t tell Ger­ald Fer­raro would say; maybe because… Well. I don’t know.
