Straight out of a bad horror movie
I got a phone call at work today that had the potential to be really creepy. Actually, it was creepy but could have been a lot more so if I didn’t recognize the number (you’ll understand in a moment).
The entire call was an automated voice — woman’s — staggered the way computer generated voices are [...]
Bean Counting
I came downtown with Amanda this morning to hang out while she does her Saturday shift at Masa. It’s become somewhat of a thing: We’ll get up Saturday morning and walk into the city. She’ll fix a cup of coffee for us, then start her baking while I wander the city. A few hours later [...]
Chop Chop
My good friend Eric and I have been collaborating on some songs recently with the hope that we can get something down on tape soon for everyone to hear. We’ve been going in a couple of directions: reworking some material we’ve each brought, as well as creating some new stuff. I’m excited. It’s gonna be good.

Booth Exposed

All hands on Deck
Yesterday morning I had my morning coffee on the balcony for the first time this year. The sun was warm and there was no breeze, so it was sweatshirt and jeans weather. I had to move the chair a bit to avoid the run-off from the overhang, but that’s a small price to pay for [...]
Vacation
I was on vacation this Monday — President’s day — so no blogging for me. I did go out to Flickr last night to look at pictures and saw this.
Flicker must’ve been on vacation too.
The Sword of Damocicle
Winter is loosing its hold on the balcony. We stood out there today for a while and weren’t uncomfortable, and this was after the sun had already moved on. I think that I’ll be out there towards the end of the month and out there for real within three weeks. I can’t wait.
Winter is still trying [...]
