Absence of Distraction

This is a common morning appearance at my house: boy in pajamas chowing on oatmeal while relaxing in his lawn chair.  Adulthood is a raw deal; fatherhood on the other hand. Amazing.

They’re redoing the sidewalks in my neighborhood. As someone who uses the roads less frequently than the average bear, it’s nice to see my property tax money put to good use for me personally.

Elijah just enjoys the machines.

It is apparent that I’m almost incapable of maintaining a daily blog.  I’m not sure what it is; something shuts off when it’s time to sit down for the thirty seconds it takes to write.  Still; I try again and hope for more success this time. We shall see.
